Disable auto door locks

I was wondering if anybody knows how to disable the auto door locks on a 99 ex. I did a search but did not find it. Any info would be nice cause the auto locks are annoying.

That was a feature I had on my previous 00 XP EB. I am almost certain that instruction to disable it is in the manual - I did disable it following the said instruction, finding it annoying myself.

Yes it is explained in the manual.... First thing I did to both my 97 & 99 when I got them used.
The manual is available on line free if you don't have one.

i like the feature. i have it enabled on my 03, but they dont work. i think its the security module.

I actually like it too. Plenty of crazies running around that just might want to jump in at a stop light. Don't need that kind of confrontation. Only drawback is having to hit the unlock twice to get in the doors other than the driver when you park it. I can live with that though.
