I have a 390 bored out, racing cam, C-6 Trans. w/ a shift kit, all new electrical, and a 600 cfm holley 4 bbl carb to top it off. For what has been done to it, it seems really s...l...o...w. Does anyone have any suggestions of what i could do to make this thing a beast?

There are guys there who have forgotten more than I'll ever learn! LOL
What gear ratio does it have in the rear differential?
Sounds like you have one of those 7.5:1 compression motors.
What CR do you have? If you don't know, what piston and head? Some combos yield dismal CR, which, in turn, yields dismal power.
Exhaust manifolds? You running those flat-against-the-head stockers? You can cram all you want in, but it has to get out, and 390s have, on some models, the worst manifolds ever produced.
600 is plenty. almost too much. 750 would be way over carbureting that motor. maybe it is running too rich or too lean? if you are looking for optimum performance you might want to consider upgrading your ignition system and ditching those points. and a good set of headers will definitely help out. a big bad classic american v8 needs to exhale. like bill clinton. a 390 is no joke and when running right it should really romp and push you back in the seat. my 360 is nasty.
