Thanks for the heads-up on the bug fix. I think I'll still wait to give the rest of my extensions a chance to update to become compatible. One of my most important features is how I have it set up for optimal page viewing.
Full screen is actually full screen when I want it (toolbars pop up and down with the pointer at the top or bottom of screen, hidden otherwise). I also have my address bar located down in the statusbar. The only toolbar I have up top is the the 'menu bar' (where file, edit etc. reside) with my Stumbleupon toolbar and a few key icons located along with it. Doesn't look like this set-up will jive with version 2 just yet. Combined with the Miniflatfox theme, I get more than an inch additional vertical page space, compared to standard. Doesn't sound like much, but it makes a world of difference.
SpringerPopThe spell checker is just nice because you don't need a seperate program to be running.
Bart99GT Yeah, there are other and better ways to speed it up. Fasterfox actually slowed some sites for me when I had it.
OK, gave it another go. Bookmarks loaded fine this time. All but one of my extensions has updated. Not a big deal, it wasn't that useful. My (supposedly compatible) theme(s) aren't working, even after reloading. The extensions that I had to get a completely different versions of are actually better than the 1.5 versions, so far.
Had a few oddities that cleared after a couple restarts (which were done for other reasons). I didn't have a 'close' icon on the tabs, my sidebar (an extension) was malfunctioning and my toolbar customizing was acting up. All working fine now. Odd...
Overall, I like it. Must have had a few things besides the bookmark issue originally. Things I didn't like are working better/different now. Hope it stays that way.
EDIT: Just noticed the spellcheck doesn't work when I'm editing my posts or use the 'go advance'/'quote' pages (atleast on this site). Works fine on the original 'quick reply' box.
I have not upgraded yet, I usually let the bug fixing progress for a while b4 upgrading. I have been using a spellcheck extension for Firefox and Mozilla for a long time. http://www.exchangecode.com/spellbound/
Hmm, it seems I'm also having troubles with one of my two Yahoo accounts. One won't let me delete 'Bulk' messages or sign out. I have to restart the browser to completely sign out, if I just click 'Sign Out' it takes me to a page with my username and asks for my password. Emptying the 'Bulk' folder takes my to an invalid address. The other account seems to be working fine.
I've also had a problem with clicking a link for an audio track on one page. It wasn't clickable, it just hung there like part of the graphics on the page. Others with FF said it worked fine for them.
OK, never mind, it was a setting in one of my extensions causing my Yahoo and link clicking problems. I had 'Splitlink' set to 'auto-split'. Don't remember setting it to that. Maybe it was a default setting for it's new version. All seems well except for a couple of browser crashes.
