The date was firmly imprinted on my mind as a kid. The only time I ever saw my folks in formal dress was when the prepared to go to the "Marine Corps Ball" every year.

Boy....the conflicts he saw.......Nicaragua (late 30s)....WWII....Korea....Lebanon (1957).....Vietnam.....Excellent genes you come from there, Bdox.....Here's to "The Old Corps"......My pops was 1956 to 1981....
