Ok well my dad bought a F250 Ranger awhile back, but there was something messed up with the carb. I got that fixed and screwed it back into place...now there are a bunch of hoses and things and i dont know where they go? does anyone know where I can get detailed instructions on where they go?
i dont think so...i dont really know what much of it is named, but i just need to find out what i need to connect to make it start...im pretty sure that once i can get it to start I can figure out the rest
Its probably a Chevy, that why you can't answer which engine it is. Its not as easy as you want it to be, it could be one hose or it could be six hoses. So how about that engine size. And next time just be specific on what you need to know or what you have done to the vehicle recently so we will have something to go on. If you cannot name or figure out the names of the engine parts that you are looking at, maybe you should take it to a mechanic. I'm not being rude just honest.
well im not sure what engine but its got automatic transmission...(and tone..its not a chevy, im really not that stupid), i just need to get the things connected for the car to start...im pretty sure there are a few hoses in there that dont go to the carb. that i need to hook up to make it run
All I can say is good luck. Even if vaccuum hoses are disconnected it should at least start, maybe not stay running, but should start. Maybe you have a problem besides hoses??
