cost for straight 3" pipe?
I have the i6 300 with efi manifolds and walker downpipe, so i want to put a 3" pipe out the back behind the back right tire. I called one place and they said it would be like 150-180 bucks, which i think is pretty high for just a straight pipe. Another place said they cant bend 3" pipe, and another place said 90 bucks.
what would be a good price for this?

I just did that exactly with my 96 powerstroke, except 3.5". I paid $68 cdn for a 10' section of pipe (only length they sold) and paid a shop $50 to cut a bend out of my old tailpipe (couldnt bend 3.5") and weld it all up and install it. Ive still got 4' 10" of pipe left.
FYI- Autozone carries maremont products, they make a mandrel bent 3" tail pipe, side exit after the rear wheel. Cost is $24.99, I saw an Az guys reciept he posted, with 8.5% tax it was $27 and change. The maremont part # is M30001 on page 1384 of the 2005 maremont catalog. If you go to full size bronco dot com in the 80-96 section there is a thread called "3 mandrel bent tailpipe-CHEAP !!!!" by poster Sixlitre with install pics and more details, that I have been trying to get on here for a LONG TIME!
Maybe Ill just have to get permission to use all the pics off the other sites thread

wow thanks, thats exactly what i want. I would only end up using one side since i'm not running duals, but tahts still not a bad price (considering most shops cant bend 3" pipe). If i can just locate enough 3" pipe to go from the end of the downpipe to the beginning of the mandrel pipe, i could probably get a shop to weld it pretty cheap.
or i could use both pipes, and just have the other one bolted in to look like i'm running duals, even though i'm not.
