replacing injectors

another post here guys. i just posted about my fuel tank and im hearing that i could have an injector problem as well. dealer is trying to tell me if they have to replace the injector they have to break the body of the van loose and raise it up to replace the number 3 and 5 injector. any thought on this.

Hmm, it's pretty tight quarters in there. They may be telling the truth. Those fuel injectors are about 8 inches long.

If the tech removes the rocker arms that are next to those fuel injectors, they come right out. Done it many times myself. Injector #3 is the only difficult one. #5 comes out easily.

For cylinders 3 and 5 you can take the 4 T-20 bolts out of each injector and remove the top of the injectors to remove and install and reassemble the injector once installed. And, the published procedure is to remove the engine mount, not lift the cab.
