If by regular, you mean a '57 & newer distributor, yes, it will work with a teapot. You will need to block off the spark control valve port in the teapot, & IIRC a std. Holley power valve plug will work. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
If you MUST use a LoadOMatic, you need to use the correct L-O-M compatible carb, whether it's a Holley 4000 teapot or whatever. See this for a better explanation than I could ever write: http://m571.com/yblock/
If you are not doing a 100% restoration, I'd carefully remove the L-O-M (if that's what you have), wrap it gently, & throw it as hard as you can into the nearest scrap metal pile. You'll be much happier without it.
