Well heres the build a 94 f 250 with a 351.
I have:
Flex a lite fans
35 in bfg m/ts
k&n
6in lift
Im getting:
Long tube/short tube headers
dana 60
Y pipe
4.56 gears vs current 3.55
From there Im open to suggestions. Im not sure whether or not I want long tube or short tube headers. Truck is running straight off cats. Probably need A9L computer I believe. Not sure if it is direct bolt up but they make tweecer for that. Not sure what heads or cam. I believe I will install the dana 60 vs 50 unless I cant find one.
The A9L computer is a Mustang MASS AIR computer which would require the correct mass air meter/ harness for its usage. I would stay with teh stock computer since it controls the trans as well....
Although the mass air kit from Ford will not control the e40d trans, Baumann Electronic Controls sells a computer that will and is programmable via laptop. The guys at the Ford Svt tech line helped me figure this one out and they recommended the Baumann line of components. I currently have one on order as of yesterday. In the mass air kit from Ford the computer is essentially that of a '93 mustang GT so anything you can do to that computer you can do to the mass air unit.
