I never tried to take an individual pane out, but I did remove the whole thing. Mine was a 92. I assume it is the same as yours. There was a thin rubber lock strip in the rubber gasket around the window. Pull it out and the gasket gets loose.

Look for the joint. I used a small screw driver, and pried out one end and pulled it around. Lubricate it before you put it in, it will be easier. There may be a tool or a more technical way, but I don't know what it is. Good luck with it.
Look for the joint in the lockstrip as stated. The lockstrip is a triangle shaped rubber ribbon. It should be on the bottom side and outside of the window, Use care when pulling itso not to stretch it out of shape!
Now, is the this a slider with 3 panels or 4 panels? If you feel this is too big for you to handle, Any Autoglass shop can replace the glass with either laminated or tempered glass.(flat panel) + there is no leakage problems if they do it! BTW, The part # for the slider is DY90035 PK1 or DY90035 PK5.
Now when it comes time to replace the window back into the truck, take a small nylon rope place it in the groove of the molding, have a friend hold the window in place to reinstall start at the bottom and work your way up. start the molding accross the bottom edge to start. Work slowly pulling both ends at the same time pulling towards the middle of the window, when you get to the top side, pull the rope in a downward direction. when you get to the last few inches, work slower until the molding is fully in place, Use DAWN Dishwashing liquid to put the lockstrip in with a screwdriver be very careful not to get any cuts or tears in it.
FYI Your rear window is put in with a rubber molding, Today's trucks glass is GLUED in. It's to reinforce the cab's structural integrity.

Yea, It will have to come out to repair it. I suggest you take it to the glass shop and let them take care of it. If they've got the glass in stock, it SHOULD take about an hour if no problems arise. And yes they do have a tool to reinstall the lockstrip.
