65 Ranchero
Well I got the 65 Ranchero----- now what ! Was mildly dissappointed with amount of rust it had. The roof is going to be the biggest job. Previous owner had installed a vinynal roof and yeh you guessed it rust around the edges. I could try to repair the roof area, but I think the best thing to do would be to get a donor roof. Maybe even one off of a sedan. Has a mid 70s 302 with a C4 auto. Been trying to get it to run right for me, I think basically its a good engine , think I have a vaccum leak somewhere. Going to look for buckets seats and a auto shifter. Also need a windshield. I think this thing is going to eat my lunch (and probably my wifes too) but we will press on, thats what is all about anyway. Thanks guys, any ideas, let me know. No I,m not going to take it to the junk yaard. Roy.
