Crank the advance up a bit and run straight oxygen into the carb? That'd blow it up for sure. Be sure to have a remote system, as oxygen tends to be a bit volatile.
Or, pull the motor and sell it as a running motor. You get more money that way. Around here, $100 for a running motor, vs maybe $35 scrap value.
I think the best way has already been said. See how much nitrous you can shove down it's throat before it blows. Combine this with the Kerosene (15 to 25 octane) fuel for some real fun. See here for all the wonderful things that can happen when octane is too low:
These are all great ideas. I like them all, but I am really liking the hyro-locking idea the most. It seems like it would do the most damage.
And for the record, the engine is not worth trying to sell or rebuild. It's way past that stage.
Keep the ideas coming. I'm hoping to do this within the next few days.
Is the engine already rebuilt to max overbore? IIRC, a 305 is a common swap into an S-10 truck - one of which I know is sitting in my neighbours yard with a melted down 2.8LV6.
Where are you at? I'd take that "bad" engine off of your hands, acquire the "deceased" S-10 from my neighbour, and fix me up a lil' ol' hotrod truck.
The engine is the bone-stock engine put in the car from 1987. It has nothing done to it. I would try to sell it or what not, but am just tired of this thing and want to get rid of it with a bang. Its been in four derbies, which is one too many in my mind, considering that we didnt do to well in any of them. Minor things went wrong.

I am located near Cincinnati.
Damn, I'm in Texas, and that's a bit too much of a haul to yank a motor.
The last engine I blew up was a Mazda B2000, the bearings were so worn the pistons hit the head. I sat in the driveway for about ten minutes with my foot to the floor, until it went bang.......
Before that, it was a 4.3 in an S10 Blazer. Pulled the pan, drove it to the back of the shop, and ran it till it blew. That was fun, it seized at around 4k, the whole truck torqued over, broke a motor mount and everything.
I vote for draining the oil, then hold it to the floor as soon as it starts for the maximum effect.
me and a few of my buddys blew an old ford probe up by taking the oil cap off and sprayedwater in there and put a brick on the gas peddal.one piston went through the head, another through the block and the other two seized up. the crank was half way up the cylinder in the cylinder with a whole in the block...hillarious. tape it however you do it.
