alrite yall this is first time posting hope yall can help me out...i have a 1960 ford truck w/ 223 that im rebuilding myself.this engine has two oil lines that feed oil to the rocker arm rail from the camshaft one goes in one comes out.when i pulled the motor apart they just crumbled the truck hasnt ran in 20 years.where can i find these oil lines ?? is there any way around them??ive tried everywhere but no luck. thanks to all in advance

I'm lookig at page 88 in the Mac's Antique Auto Parts catalog (1-800-777-0948). I see: new oil pumps; oil pump rebuild kits; oil pump drive shafts; and oil pump pickup tube & screen listed for the 223 motor.
Their tech people are pretty good, so if you call and describe what you're looking for, they'll likely be able to figure out what it is you need.
If the lines were in that bad shape, how nasty is the rest of the engine? Maybe it isn't worth repairing or rebuilding. There must be other 223's out there in wrecking yards, either to scrounge the lines off or that are better candidates for rebuilding. The 223 was used in a lot of Ford trucks and cars.
if ya need it(and it looks like ya do) i have the rear oil line just lounging in my tool box. It came out of my 58 223 so it should work just fine for you. e-mail me if ya want it....
