223 help...manifold and botls
I need an exhaust manifold (not cracked) for my 1961 223 engine. Im having trouble finding one without a crack in it (gone though 4 already).
Also, I need a complete bolt kit for the same 223 engine. I need all the bolts,,,head, bell housing, valve cover, oil pan, ect.

Fits: 1957/64 F100/600 / 1958/62 Full Sized Passenger Cars: 1958/61 Fairlane (NOT 1962 and later) / 1958/62 Custom / 1959/62 Galaxie.
C3AZ9426A replaced: B8A9426A & C1TE9426A.
No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

Where are you located in SoCal?
I know of a wrecking yard in south central LA that has been in business since 1929, and may have some good used manifolds, valve covers, oil pans, heads and other stuff.
1960/64 223 I-6 uses the same valve cover. Prior to 1960, the valve cover is not the same and will not fit.

You can get a new intake and exhaust manifold if you want to go with a 2V or 4v carb. Clifford performance parts sells them. I have one of the manifolds sitting on a shelf collecting dust. Drop me a PM unless you plan to stay stock.

You are aware...I assume, that 223's have the intake/exhaust manifolds on the drivers side.
240/300's have the intake/exhaust manifold on the passenger side.
223 manifolds are 223 only.
If the 1961/62 exhaust manifold was replaced by C3AZ9426A, see below:
C3AZ9426A .. 223 Exhaust Manifold & Thermostat Assy. / Includes 4 special studs, 2 special nuts (not used in 1961/62).
240/300's have the intake/exhaust manifold on the passenger side.
223 manifolds are 223 only.
