seems that my 06 350 psd is surging when i come to a stop, if i watch the tach it seems to surge up about 100-200 rpm's, but it doesnt do it all the time maybe im just a little crazy? i never noticed it until i switched my exhaust im running the mbrb 4" cool duals with the kitty in place thats only mod ive done so far...and diesel kleen in every tank truck only has 11,800 miles any ideas or am i just loonie!
06 F350 w/ 8000 miles, and have noticed the surging. Not near as bad as my 04 was, but I can see the tach move a little. I had an MBRP cat back, no muffler put on, but I am pretty sure I noticed it before that. My 04 started surging right after I changed its exhaust, and Ford made it stop, don't remember how. Mine is pretty bad while in tow haul, and in 1st hear with higher RPM 2500 or so right before it shifts. I had it in to ford to fix a leaky moonroof, and they checked it and said it was normal, but it jerks so bad off roading could be interesting. I will take mine to a different smaller town dealer, where I bought it in a month or two when I am not as busy. Let me know if you figure anything out. Levi
thanx for replies guys, ill keep an eye on it , its not a real problem cuz it doesnt do it all the time? im just a freak like that and pay extra close attention to my truck!
I know this is a ridiculously old post but I was wanting to know if you ever found the reason your 6.0 Powerstroke was surging. I have an 03 6.0 and it randomly started surging EXACTLY like you described.
holy old thread!!! I never figured out why it was doing it? I had the truck for 60,000 miles and traded it in, it never got any worse or better...and it only did it every once in a while.

I don't know about the OP, but my surgeing and stalling was the ICP Pig tail it made the truck and some scan gauge values go nuts to read, and it was a very frustrating source to find, I replaced the ICP no change went for the pig tail BAM ,The truck has been running Flawless every since.
