How did you pull the code? KAM is keep alive memory. Disconnect both batts and try again. If you have a chip or tuner let us know. May have to pull the chip or revert to stock and then check again. Could be PCM on way out.
Edit: are you still there? It is usually polite when asking a question to await a reply.

Sorry dude. Im on shift at the fire house and we had a call. But anyway yes I just installed a tuner on the truck today. In fact thats how I retrevied the code. My rig is a 02 4x4 CC auto trany with a 7.3L The tuner is a Hypertech.

No biggy, I understand that. I wish I could surf but being on patrol doesn't allow it. I'm obviously in the wrong bizz. Why did you go with a Hypertech tuner? Anyway, are there any other probs with the truck, or you just pulled a code with the new tuner. Could be a software glitch that means little.
Darn, Alan is fast on the keyboard. BTW, You should have a PM Alan. The notification can be delayed on those things here, and thanks for the injector article.
I kinda just fell into it. My buddys dad sold his 02 and sold it to me for $100. I thought it was a good deal. The the secound time I hooked it up to change the tire size Is when the code showed up. So I guess this code means nothing right.
0603- PCED Powertrain Control Module KAM error No historical faults output during a KOEO test Open PCM pin, disconnected B+, faulty PCM
code PO603 indicates the pcm has experienced a memory fault. check you battery cables and terminals. a faulty connection can cause this. its that or the pcm is damaged. if you have an extra, pop it in and try it.
It can, but it will show up after unhooking batts or with a chip/ tuner installed. If you are having problems the there are some things to check but it sounds like you just have it from the tuner.
