Regarding putting the trans sensor in too far, in my setup from Ken's Performance Solutions in the instructions were some notes on that. He mentioned that some tranny's have a piece down in the hole that sorta covers up the end of the hole, and yeah if you screw down too tight it'll bust the tip of the sending unit. He supplies you with a few washers and says to take a toothpick, prope around inside the hole along the edges, and if you bump up against something, to mark it on the toothpick. You then transfer the mark to the sending unit (use a Sharpie or whatever) and then apply a couple washers as needed so you can tighten the unit down enough and not have it go in too far. I didn't need any on mine, but that's one thing you could do if you do run into that problem. Also, don't overtighten it... get it snug, then drive it and if you notice any leakage, tighten it some.
