One of my rear vent windows stop working. I checked for fuses for this window, but didnt find them in the owners manual.... Any known issue I can attack on this problem? Thanks...
Do this before spending any time or money. Get in the back with someone else up front to operate the switch. Press against the window gently while the other person works the switch. If this doesn't work try also running your finger or a plastic putty knifre around between the window and seal. You just need to get them seperated. They get almost fused together from heat and lack of use.
Ours just did the same thing and it was just stuck. Good luck!
Mine get stuck all of the time, its this Texas heat. Usually after a few minutes with the a/c and rear a/c on high it will begin moving. You might try some mild lube on the seal when you get it open. I hope that your motor is not out.
Silicone Spray works great on rubber seals keeping them soft, pliable, and squeak free. I used to have a 92 camaro with t-tops. Using silicone on the seals kept them from leaking and also kept away the dreaded squeaking.
Hey I have an XLT and assume my back windows don't "vent". One time at a car wash I had some water come in from seemingly the top of the back side window. I've washed it since without issue.
So do XLT's not have rear vent windows?
