Pop out vent window replacement

Has anyone ever changed a rear pop out vent window? I have a 2002 F250 extended cab and would like to remove the side windows to tint them. Any ideas?

Hey thanks for getting back to me. What I want to know is if there is any hidden problems with removing the rectangle window on the back seat door? I have the same cab as you do. It looks pretty straight forward. I just want to make sure theres nothing that can go wrong.

No it's pretty easy, you shouldn't have a problem once you take the panel off.

So I do have to take the panel off just to take the window out? Can't I just unbolt the window from the hinges and the locking snap thing? It's all right there. It doesn't roll down, it just pops out on the back side of the window.
