X-plan question

I'm using the X-plan offered by my employer to purchase my new F150, but I'm also trading in my 2001 Ranger EDGE. Of course the dealer is trying to tell me he makes no money on the new truck so he can't give me even the Black book price on the trade...yeah right. Am I correct in that since I have ordered my new F150, the dealer actually pockets the entire Holdback allowance of 3% of MSRP ($930 in my case) since the vehicle will not be sitting on the lot for the first 90 days like the typical vehicle. Therefore I can accurately state back to him that he is making $930 profit even though I get X-plan? I assume Ford reimburses the dealer the difference between inovice and X- (or A-) plan prices so the dealer does not lose there either. Is this correct? Thanks

X-plan question

I would go to another dealer. Your existing vehicle is worth $x, it dosen't matter how you're buying your new one. X-plan just removes the negotiation of the new vehicle.
