Wondering if anyone has any suggestions as far as what shocks to replace the factory ones (05 PSD) - No lift, etc... Just stock. Would like to upgrade and get rid of the "Rancho" ones. If anyone has already done this, your input would also be appreciated! Thanks!

Bilsteins - 100%
There is a thread on the Super Duty forum about Rancho, Bilsteins and Edelbrocks.
Check out eshocks.com for great service, prices and free shipping when buying 4 of them.
I have Bilsteins and they are great, reliable and very responsive.
I'm shopping shocks as well. My 350 is a work truck, but I'd like it to not ride like one.... you know what I mean? It has the "Rancho" shocks so anything has to be an improvement.
The shocks that I see out there the most are Donaldson, and Pro Comp. There are a few others, but these look pretty good. Dont know much about the Blesteins but I will check them out. I have a little over 25k on these shocks with a fair amount of towing. Not sure if new shocks will actually do anything. Like you, a little better ride would be nice.
I replaced the factory shocks on my 03 SD with Pro Comp ES3000's. I also put ES3000's on the F-150 that I recently traded. For ride quality and performance, you can't go wrong with these, IMHO. I'll probabely get some for my wife's truck too when her factory shocks are worn a little more.
