My 2000 had pinholes in it by 2005 but good news 27 dollars from ford dealer and some RTV and 15 minutes later good to go.I used the 75-90 synthetic but had an open diff I think it makes a difference.
For single rear wheel use only synthetic 75-140 Use the "Right stuff" gasket maker in a cheese whiz can..never leak. Stay away from the other silicone junk.
