Fuel Filter Wrench

Does anyone have a link to the correct wrench or adapter to tighten the fuel filter cover on top of the 7.3L diesel?

Tim,

I just use a strap wrench. The amual I have, (Chiltons) says to only hand tighten, but I give it an extra "grunt" just to be sure.

Fuel filter wrench

Ask your local Matco Tools Distributor for a KD3526, it will fit both the old and new style caps for the 7.3

is there an online wiring diagram for a 1999 Superduty? My electric door locks sometimes work.

You can actually use the handles of a long pair of pliers to get into the cap itself and then use a screwdriver or some sort of bar to turn it. Easy on, easy off, that's it.
