mitsubishi 5 speed, help!
ok, so i have a 89 ranger with the 2.9 4x4 with the mitsubishi 5 speed. needless to say if i cant find the right parts that grenaded inside the extension housing (5th speed gear and i dunno what else yet) or a new mitsubishi tranny im goona need some advise to what else i can do. ive had no luck finding a used tranny yet. will a mazda 5 speed work? how diffcult is changing in a automatic? the motor is a solid runner and id rather not swap motors cause the truck aint worth it. it was purchased over a case of beer lol. all help is greatly apprecaited. thnx aaron

Looks like both the Mazda and Mitsubishi boxes were used.
