Diesel Ranger

Through conversation i found a local guy who has an wrecked 86 ranger that has a crate motor from ford that is a the Mitsubishi 4 cyly turbo charged diesel and factory rebuilt 5 speed tranny. What is the engine and tranny worth, and how difficult would it be to put in a newer gas ranger?

Engines are rare. I just bought a 1985 like that myself. Let me know if you want to sell it.
