hey all, im went to pick a part yesterday and found a tranny, didnt have tools or money, so im going back today, the shift **** looks like an original ford, but it has geras 1-4 labled with reverse, but below reverse, there is another line for another gear, but what it says is there is all scratched out and i cant read it, do you all know what it is?
well, had that trans almost all the way out, all i needed to do was undo 4 bellhousing bolts, and i was done, when my buddy(a tranny guy) said we should pull the drain plug and see we find, and low and behold we found parts of bearings......so we pulled the top cover, and looks like the guy was trying to shift without his clutch and all the gears were torn up, there went 1 days work in 100 degree weather for nothing!
