Speedometer Problem

I just bought a new to me 05 F250 PSD and was having a problem with the speedometer. When at a complete stop the speedometer reads to be a -10 mph (looks to be about 10 mph under 0 on speedo). When I use the gps unit I am about 10 mph faster then the speedometer shows. Any suggestions to what the problem could be. Thanks.

It's under warranty, take it back to the dealer to have them reflash.

I just took my '06 in for the same problem, there is a TSB for that, they replaced my guage cluster. I had the same problem, exactly.

Ya i got an 06' PSD and i was at a complete stop and it was stuck at 21mph. They had to replace my whole gauge unit.

Congratulations on the new truck! I agree that you should bring it back to the dealer and let them check it.

The truck is out of the 36,000 mile warranty. Any idea's what the problem is.

The instrument cluster was the problem and the dealer ordered it and was on back order. They called last week to get my miles off the old cluster to program the new one. So it should be in any day now. I have waited since the begining of December. There are F150's that are on back order for up to three months though. So my wait wasn't to bad.
