Where is this computer module located to find the 5 digit keyless entry code? I just bought a 2005 F350 Lariat SuperDuty but need to get code from Ford dealer who wants $60.00 to get it. I have heard u can find it on the module.
check your owners manual and paperwork for the security card it has the code on it or remove the panel under the steering wheel and get a mirror and flash light and look up and to the right under the white foam you should see it in large font on the module
Here's how I found mine: Take the 2 screws out of the bag holder thing, pull it off carefully. Look in the hole with a flashlight, slightly up and to the left there is a box mounted to the firewall with a white sticker on it. The code will be the 5 digit number in larger font than the rest kinda off to itself. Mine wasn't behind the insulation like others have said (2004 F250 SD). Hope this helps.
I still can't seem to find the code anywhere? is there lots of wires comming off the module? I see a black box but no sticker on it anywhere? 2005 F350 Lariat
I just had to look for mine. The computer is behind the radio. Remove the access panel to expose the fuse box. you might need to move some of the insulation out of the way, but it is way up there, directly behind the radio
If you pull open the storage compartment just below the stereo you can see it. It is up against the firewall. Get a flash light and look straight up the firewall almost behind the stereo. Big numbers.
