C6 question

C6 question
I am looking at a spare transmission for my prerunner. one I have found has stamped in the side
RF-D7AP-7006-AA
another has the same #s except for the (RF) at the begining.
what do you think would be the difference. they are both c6, from what I am told.

The RF means nothing...just look for a BIG block C6 tranny from the 1970's.
The Ford transmission ID code prefix on the metal tag, left side of case will be: PJD
