What do you plan to tow? I went for the 7.3 because it is a proven unit and the 6.0s had problems in their earlier years and I am not sure they solved the problems as opposed to band aiding them and waitng for the 6.4

Mine has the 4 in MBRP exhaust, and DP-Tuner reprogrammed PCM. Works just fine towing. I have a total weight of 16500# at the scale fully loaded and never felt out of power.
As to reliability, The 6.0 has been our for what? 4 years? And they went to the 6.4. First couple of years were problematic. Next couple were ok. I gues the band-aids are holding up. Does that make you wonder?
