You need to count revs. to know for sure. Mark your driveshaft and your wheel. Some say raise the rear and turn the wheel, another(but more dangerous) way is to roll the truck on a LEVEL floor or ground while counting. If you decide to do it that way have someone there to help in case things get out of hand.
You count the revs of the driveshaft, per each rev of the rear wheel.

In the cool still quite of night you can hear chevies rusting away.
YES IT IS!!! I went from 0 - 100 when I bought the truck back in Columbia. It was a daily driver and I knew it was going to need a major overhaul in the near future. I did lots of research and talking to folks who had trucks like ours. I spent lots of time in the junkyards looking at other trucks and finding parts and some answers in the process. There was a month when I was under it every night, much too late for my wife's happiness, and it made headway quickly. Now I live in an apartment in a city of +75,000 with almost no junkyards that have anything I am looking for:-( So, I really enjoy this forum to learn and ask questions, and sometimes help others!
Yeah, LOL when I lived at home with my parents I used to work on my cars and trucks all the time till 3-4 in the morning!!! now I live in the city with houses way to close on either side to do much of anything. Plus the wife gets upset if I am out there past about 8:00. John
