97 4.2 hard to start when cold
it seeme like it turns over for 30+ secs before it starts then it has a bad miss ,spits and spuders . sometimes it clears up and runs other times it stalls then starts right up . does'nt seem to have any power until it gets to 3 grand rpms and its takes right off . i have no codes and replaced wires plugs and coil pack . any ideas

I would try pulling the plugs when it is cold. Make sure there is no antifreeze on them. A small head gasket leak can do this.
Does it start any better if you hold the gas down a little bit?

hi , guys i checked the plugs no sign of antifreeze , held the gas pedal down about half way and it seemed to start a little sooner but still ran pretty rough for 10 - 15 secs .also coolent level seemed fine .
