what I beam are you talking about? I never really realized these trucks had a I beam in them. Maybe I am jsut confused. but considering the bodydamage you would neevr think it would have twisted up the frame that badly. I gues if you would part the truck out it would give you extra money so you can put it into your motor swap. Also if you have any questions feel free to ask and we will help anyway possible(well i dont know to much about the trucks but i know other people out there do and would be willing to help) are you doing to part the truck out?
well, if i get a new door, i beam, and tie rod, i can drive it, ill have to go by pick a part in a few days, see what i can find, the truck is worth more to me then what i could get for it parting it out.....
ouch man, my friend did the same thing in his beautiful 96 ford f250. he only scraped the side all the way and was too stupid to buy it back from the insurance company(it was totalled) for like $1200. it was a powerstroke, black, had a winch, brand new tires and suspension... -wipes away tears-
really sorry bout your truck. i wish you the best in finding a replacement.
P.S. what is that dual hitch thing on the front of your bumper for? I REALLY REALLY want to know.
yeah you can get a fender and door and then do bodywork on it and then you could paint it back up and run it again (change the parts and do the bodywork as you drive it).
