very sad friday

im still in shock......my poor baby.......driving my truck today up into the mountains, out of no where comes a gaurdrail and smashes my truck!!!!!! no, i lost control due to my balding tires.......the whole left side of my truck is wasted and the "i" beams are bent to all hell.......figures though, just got her going good, flushed the radiator, new water pump, new t/stat just filled her up and put my new ignition switch in......with my luck i should have known it was coming!!!!!!!!! ill get some pix up tomarrow in the daylight and let you all cringe at the pain that truck is in, its a sad day in history when a ford looks like mine does now........ so what are you going to do withthe truck now?
Hope you can find another fframe and body cheap and put the engine and tranny in it or soemthing like that

Sorry to hear about the accident man. I know how bad it sux to lose a vehicle you've put a lot into.
But as long as you're OK, anything else can be fixed or replaced....

The most important thing is you are OK and nobody got hurt.
Trucks are repairable or replaceable.

yes thanks all, im fine, like i was saying a few months ago, ive been thinking of a 6.9 swap into my 1970 250,i dont have the money to buy a new frame and body for the one i have now, ill have to use what i got, im going out today, and am going to take a lot of measurements!!!!!! ill let you guys know what i find out, if i do put the 6.9 in the 1970 gasser frame, im definately putting a manueal trans behind it, and not the c-6, i realy dont like a 3spd auto behind a diesel, we'll wee what happens, Dustin
