Top spring plates

I'm getting ready to put my dana 70 under my truck. I'm not sure what I'm going to do for top spring plates. I've got lift springs so there is quite a arch there. The ones on there now are only hitting on the edges (they have been boxed in, so no give) & now is the time to fix it they won't work anyways, too small. Maby I could arch a piece of plate up after I get the axle under there & get the weight on it. I thought about getting new plates from Ford thinking the factory ones would have some give to them but they want 55$ a piece for them so thats out. If I thought factory ones would give some to follow the arch I'd go junk yard searching but I don't know for sure. Any thoughts ?

this is what i did when i put a 70 under mine. I had a machine shop make them for free. Just gave them the specs and said to make them 1/2 inch thick.

I will crawl under the truck tom. and take some pictures with it installed.

I'll probably end up doing something like that but I'll arch it to follow the spring arch then box it in. I'll have to do something to the bolt holes too to get them straight, so the washer and nut will seat flat on the plate once it's arched. Maby put a bolt in with a nut and washer on both sides, heat around it and pull it straight.
