Hemi/Turbo???
Ok Gents, Could any of you tell me the difference between a turbo and a hemi muffler? I was looking at Borla mufflers and saw the two types. Also, I'm still looking for feedback as to finding a location for Bassini muffler's only.

They had to be compact because of the space limitations on the Corvairs.
You could almost call them the original Flowmaster, a streetable sound, low restriction option if you didn't want to run glass packs. Somewhere between the Flowmaster 40 and 70 series in sound. An excellent choice where space is restricted and on smaller displacement engines, wouldn't be my first choice on a big-block V-8 bigger than a 351.
The Hemi mufflers are out of the same era, originally used on the Chrysler 426 hemi police and muscle cars. Also fairly low-restriction and streetably quiet, good low pitched rumble when you stand on it, larger than the turbo mufflers. Designed for use on larger displacement engines without splitting the seams.
I'm assuming what you're looking at are somewhat faithful to the original designs, which were and still are excellent mufflers.
(We now return from 1970s flashback mode- Who's got my '69 Chevelle SS-396 now?)
