1965-4 Door???

i have never posted over here, im a diesel fellow but i just couldnt resist wondering about this truck. i have found a 1965 4 door straight 6, 300 for sale. the paint and the whole truck is stock, including interior, paint, etc. obviously not oil, tires, the maint. stuff. it is 2 wheel drive, and once i do some seat work, a little on the interior, rear pinion seal the truck will be mint. i was just wondering how much a truck like this is worth. thanks for any help

I would definitely say that what you have, you don't see much of just about anywhere. I would even say that you could list it as "rare". And that is a word that is just a bit overused, especially on Ebay. But to ask what it is worth, is kinda like asking how much should I expect to pay for a haircut. I've seen trucks that I thought would bring in big bux go for a LOT less, and vice-versa. Maybe someone else could give you a bit more of an answer you are looking for.....

Ryan, Check this out https://www.ford-trucks.com/pictorial/big/1965_f100_9.html I looked at your profile and if you found one near you in the shape that you describe and you like the truck than go for it. What is the asking on the truck?

There is some interest in the truck, as far as being desirable, I suspect there isn't a lot, but that could change because of all the new 4 door trucks that I am seeing now.

Is that the green one with the camper on it? How do you like the red one? That price is a little rich for my blood. :-)

John-
That red 4 door is right nice. I was looking at it the other day online and I had never seen anything like it that old. Just my newness to the antique world I guess. It sure is a nice setup and I'm sure gets some attention even next to the new ones!

Mike there weren't many of the 4 doors built, but that one appeals to me more than any other that I have seen. I have never owned a 4X4 or really wanted one, but I drool over that piece of work. :-)

I would love to have a 65-66 Crew Cab, espacially one with the Ranger pkg with console, Custom Cab, AT,AC,PS,PB, 352 V8, Moldings, and all. Don't laugh, they COULD be ordered that way!! For information sake, crew cabs are rare because those who bought them had no interest in saving them, just work 'em and get rid of 'em. If you can find a 65 or 66 Ford Camper Flyer, this shows cars, broncos, and trucks as they relate to camping. There is a very nice color feature of the crew cab in it.

Jim, Where did you come across the information as to what could be ordered on a crew cab, You couldn't order AC because it was a dealer add on.

From what I understand Ford used the grills in trucks still titled as 65. I don't know which is the case here. I do know that Ford quit making 65 grills for aftermarket sales, so for years you had to buy a 66 if you needed a new grill.

What I ment by "Ordering" AC is when you tell the dealer what you want, factory or dealer add on, they will have it ready for you to pick up. Ok, details also include the question of if Cruiseamatic was available with the 352 if a crew cab was ordered ( my flyer says only a 4 speed with the crew-352, but my service books indicate cruise WAS available with a crew-352 (4x2 only). Really technical??: The ugly (Econoline type) ROOF-STYLE a/c was available on the F-series from the factory. This info is from the remnants of a truck line order form I found in my truck. Looks like it was supposed to be filled out when a special order truck was built. It has a box where "Heater, Air Cond,or Deluxe Heater was supposed to be selected, as well as all the other truck parts. My form is in extremly poor condition, and blank. I'm going to try to reproduce it if possible.

1965-4 Door???

hi, i wanted to say i own a 65 f350 4x4 dually 6 man cab (4dr crewcab) some of you may have seen it on ebay about 6 months back. well i was the lucky one to get it . i drove to texas to get it. it was originally from ks. that is where i am from. it is getting ready for a transformation into a street rod truck. daily driver. 2 wheel drive and modern suspension,4 wheel disc, with 5.4 ohc motor and transmission.
