1965 F100 paint code
Looking for paint code for my 1965 F100 truck. I have the door tag but tag is blank where exterior color code should be from factory. I also have a 1965 ford shop manual but boes not give paint store enough information to convert manual ID to paint ID for blending new paint. There were not a lot of truck colors in those years but not a lot of documentation either. The color I am looking for was popular on trucks about 1965. It is an off cream white with maybe a tinge of pink in it. I know with computers I can kind of match it. But I want an exact match. Can you help me? Thank you Paul Davis

Nice ole truck your working on . Sorry, I dont have your answer, but you can also click on forums and go to the 1965 forum and the bodywork one also, lot of good people helping out there that are also doing the same as you are, good luck on your project

try that! My paint guys have a computerized system -- once they have a name and a year, they can spit out almost perfect matches (minus the fade obviously)

Thanks for the info. My dad also bought truck new. Truck has never had any motor work, clutch or throw out bearing until a month ago. I put a 1977 big six 300 cubic inch motor in with mild cam. Runs very niece. Thank you again for the paint help. Paul Davis
