1966 paint code

My 1966 F-100 has a paint code of 5m on the door tag. All of the reference books that I have do not mention anything about a number in the paint code. Any ideas?

1966 paint code

Exterior paint code M indicates that the truck was originally white. I have no idea where the 5 came from. My paint code chart does not show any numbers except specification no. 1619-A with the code "M" white.

1966 paint code

My book shows two colours with numerical codes: 3 = light blue and 8 = yellow. Sorry, no 5 shown. My '66 is 8M-2, wimbledon white and springtime yellow, and is so marked on the firewall in grease pencil. Is there a code on your firewall?
