Hello, Utah Fred here, does any one know the correct color combination for the 1966 two-tone Ford pick-up? Was it Raven Black and Wimbledon White or was it Raven Black and Pure White? Thanks for your help!

 

What are your paint codes on your Warranty plate? That should tell the stock colors. I have a JM color code 1966 F250 4x4 which decodes to Rangoon Red (J) and Wimbledon White (M).

Most tu-tone in 1966 used Wimbledon White as the other "color" that I have seen. Don has one that is tu-tone white. MC coded, so Wimbledon White and Pure White.

 

TA455HO, I should have explained myself a little more. My '66 was originally a single color, Raven Black, and I would like to two-tone it to the Ford two-tone original colors.

 

Wimbledon White was used in 1966 for the white on a tu-tone paint job when Raven Black was the primary color. The primary color was listed first in the code and the only exception I've come across is the MC tu-tone like Don's truck. In that case Wimbledon White was the primary color and Pure White was the secondary.
