Door Armrest
The door armrest on my 1966 F250 were beige. The replacements are black so I will have to get them painted. Does anyone have the paint code or know where I can find the correct paint . Thanks in advance..Joe

The armrests are the same as 1959 Ford Fairlane/Galaxie, 1960/64 Ford Custom, 1960/63 Falcon/Comet.
These have been reproduced in Black, Red and Palomino and are available from DearbornClassics.com.
Black and red are the same colors as used in the trucks. Palomino is only correct for 1965 Rangers.
Dearborn has interior vinyl spray paint, over 40 colors are available. You'll have to look at the sample colors in Dearborn's catalog to determine which is correct.

Dearborn's catalog covers passenger cars, but there are quite a few parts that are the same as the trucks.

Thanks for that info ND.I need a red armrest for my 64.Now I'm curious as to what parts are the same for a 64 f100 CC.Good info to have.I'm still a newbie,but your knowledge is priceless and has helped me a ton.Thank you sir.

I'm just gonna assume if your gonna paint one it makes more sense to go with palomino correct? as it's the lightest color it would be the easiest to cover?

Painting Arm Rest
Does anyone know if I can paint with vinyl spray paint my black arm rest white. Will white vinyl spray paint actually cover the black? or am I going to end up with an arm rest that looks like crap? How many coats will it take? Anyone try this before?
