Hello all, trying to troubleshoot my 99 DRW and I'm getting some kind of vibration/pop when I turn my truck hard in either direction. I don't think ball joints make that kind of noise. I can feel it as well as hear it. Any ideas?
Check the plastic spacers between your leaf springs and see it they're worn out. Also check your cab mounts, I had the same type of noise in my truck and that's what it ended up being. I made a post about it.
Hope this helps.

You Might chk that your one of your trucks 4x hubs is stuck in 4wheel or locked in when it shouldn't be .
Easy way to chk is try to turn the front axle shafts behind each wheel.

damn you guys are good. Having the ball joints replaced this week and the mech noticed the hubs were locked. He freed one of them but it was rough and the other was just locked. I bought two new and he will put everything back together today and no charge on the locks since he was already in there. Jeez they were expensive.
$416.00 for two
Couldn't find aftermarket either for DRW, only SRW but my truck should be good to go after today.
