I have an 06 F-350 Harley. I wanted to add a bank of 3 powert points under the dash to charge my GPS navigator, Cell Phone, and PDA without a bunch of wires hangin off the dash. I hooked these new power points to the wires on the back of the existing lower power point in the dash. It worked fine running the GPS Navigator but when I plugged anything else in to it I blew the 20 amp fuse.
I decided to use the Upfitter Switch #1 since it was 30 amp. Again it worked fine until I plugged in a cell phone charge. It apears that a fuse is blown again. I looked in the owners manual and found the the fuse (30 amp) for the switch #1 was the larger type fuse. It looked like it was OK but I switched the fuse with the one for the #2 switch and it made no difference.
I can't figure out why I don't have power from the switch even though the power light on the switch itself works.
Any help would be fantastic. Thanks

If the switch still lights when on, then probably either the relay is dead or more likely there is no power from the fusebox. Here's the circuit info https://www.fleet.ford.com/truckbbas/non-html/Q117.pdf I think the upfitter relay box is behind the glove box, not sure. Good luck.
