I just picked up a digital (No having to count flashes!) code reader for my 88 BII 2.9 from kragen Auto for thirty something bucks. The only downside is: they didn't have the six foot extension. Plus if you don't have a timing light, that's another 80+ bucks. It came with a code decipher book. Oh, and the connector on mine is on the passenger side, under the hood by the firewall (Behind the filter case)
