On a 2000 Explorer the trim panels that run up the A pillar and over the doors are falling off. These have a retainer clip moulded into the panel the drivers side has two of these broken off and now the passenger side has started comming loose.
I'm afraid to buy new ones just to have them break again. I was thinking of just running some (very short) sheet metal screws in at the sites where the clips used to be. Anyone had this problem or come up with a fix?
