Man have I learned alot about diesel mods. I am looking to start with gauges (as you have instructed so many of us to do). I have seen some gauge panels that mount just above the rear view mirror. Does anyone here have these? Pros? Cons? I prefer this look to the panels along the windshield.
The overhead gauge panel is nice, but the three gauge pod overhead unit made by Autometer has to be used with Autometer gauges, because of their depth.
I was going to use two ISSPRO gauges and they did not fit right
I ended up going with the under the pocket gauge panel and I like the look better and the gauges were two Autometer, WATER TEMP and DIFF TEMP and one ISSPRO VOLT GAUGE
want pics?
what color is your interior? I have the spare overhead in grey
I think you can a 1-2-3-4 gauge A pillar pod, a center dash pod(3 gauge), overhead rear view mirror(3 gauge), and or the steering wheel gauge face unit and the under pocket 3 gauge pod.
If you look at my gallery, you'll see I mounted mine in Carbon Fiber cups by AutoMeter on the dash above the radio. Pics show three gauges, but I have four now.
Nice thanks for the pics. I like the above the mirror 3 gauge panel wiht the black faces. That link had a some good photos of installed panels. Thanks again.
