Rebuilding floor jack
Has anyone had any luck rebuilding a floor jack? I have a couple of old ones and they are frozen up or won't work correctly.
I'm wondering if they have seals that can be replaced and if adding brake fluid would do the trick? Any thoughts?
Should I not waste my time and just go buy a new one?

Some people have rebuilt jacks. If they are a good commercial brand you can probably get parts and it may be worthwhile to rebuild. The imports are largely throw away products. Stay away from brake fluid in jacks.
