I would like to add some lights for when I reverse. I can sure use more light!! What do you guys recommend as far as size and brand? I would prefer to keep the budge low because my wallet is pretty empty as of this morning
I added some small halogen (55 watt) fog lamps to the cross member on my reciever hitch. Added a relay and wired into the 7 wire plug. I can give you more info on wiring if you need it. You can't put 110 watt draw on the back-up lamp circuit.

I would like more information on wiring. I would like to wire them up to the reverse wires so that they turn on when I put the truck into reverse.Thanks.
I use the tractor implement light housing, its the ones that you can get from auto zone ,napa or any auto parts store. they are 55w and about 5" round i take the bulb out and put a AIRCRAFT LANDING LIGHT BULB in . NAPA #4509 they just pop in and are a 100W EA. about $6. my windows are blacked out so they work great.
i might give it a go to one of those Pilot lights. They are a subcompany to one of the bigger lighting companies. My friends got one on his jeep as his fogs and they are pretty sturdy and bright. Might put four of those in the back as well!!!
Try getting the 50W Halogen Backup lights that replace the stock backup bulbs. They are only about $9.00 each and you can get them ate Advanced Auto Parts, PepBoys, and most auto stores. I have them in most of my vehicles and they look better than external add on lights.
