Home At Last!!!

WOW!

Am I excited to be here!

Just got an 96, 3.0L Ranger, and boy do I have questions. :-)

I'm just dying to work on my truck.

Turns out I know less then I thought about being a mechanic.. hehe.

You guys are like doctors as far as I'm concerned!!! Seriously!

Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself, and apologize ahead of time for asking tooooo many beginner questions. (I'll try to control myself)

Can't wait to learn!

Cheers Everyone,
CG

Awck naw, there aren't any dumb questions, and it seems to be hard tostep on peoples toes with 'em, the only problem would be the long, and pointless debates over the correct answer. anyways, happy to help how ever i can.

No worries about the beginner questions- we all have to start somewhere.

There's a lot of good info in the Tech. Info. sticky at the top of the Ranger forum, you might look through there and see if the answers to some of your questions are already there.

Welcome to FTE CG.

As john112deere suggested, FIRST check the "Technical Info" thread atop this forum, with any questions you have about your ride. I'ts likely the problem has already been discussed in some length.

Any thing you don't understand or have good feedback on, post away. No such thing as a "dumb question" here!!!!

Poke around on some of the other forums too. There are forums for just about anything you'd want to do with a Ford truck, that you may find helpful or interesting too.

See you by the boards.

Welcome to FTE, and your right there is some great info on this site, and not just in the ranger forum. there are forums for all the engines, types of trucks, suspension etc as well as general forum. Ask all the questions you want, heck you might even come up with some new ones. If it wasn't for questions there wouldn't be a need for anything like FTE so your questions and/or answer just support the site and add to the knowledge base that is here.
One thing you might do is go back and do some reading through old threads, you will need a good week to read them all but you might find stuff you hadn't even thought about asking.
