Edge Evolution for '04 FX4 What to expect?

I ordered an Edge Evolution from Discount Power Parts , Can't wait, just what should I expect out of my truck on level 2, towing? More torque down low? How much torque and HP will I gain on that level? Higher shift points? Can I just leave it alone without changing settings after I have it set? Does anyone recommend any custom settings? Thanks!

You will notice power down low all the way up. Much more responsive. I just installed the level 2 and increased the shift firmness by 2. You can install the level 2 and you DON'T have to do anything else. I haven't customized anything else and I am completely satisfied, although I will be experimenting when I get a chance.

Wow! I got it in, took about 10 minutes, test drove and the thing sure woke up the truck! The display is just a bonus.

I'm trying to understand these tuners. So, can I see increases in power with leaving the tranny alone...I just don't like that "firm" shift feel....just my opinion. Also what kinda wiring is there on the install.....sounds pretty easy from hearing guys talk.

Brian, from what I've read and seen, it's pretty much a plug and play deal. I'll be ordering mine this weekend! I can't wait!

Yeah, it's plug and play, if I didn't have to move my Prodigy brake controller it would've taken 5 minutes. You'll feel the power instantly, I can't believe how it woke the truck up! Feels like a totally different motor. They say that firming up the shifts will help the tranny last longer but you can set it any way you want it. I'm more than happy!
